Board of Directors Meetings

Board meetings are typically held on the second Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Party Room. Any changes to the meeting schedule will be announced through the website. The Annual Meeting of the Membership is typically held in September. Election of members to the Board of Directors is conducted at this meeting as well as other Association business.

Trash and Recycling Collection

The community’s waste disposal contractor is Bates Trash Removal (301-773-2069). Trash is picked up on Monday, Wednesday and Friday of each week from the garage. Recycling is picked up on Tuesday and Thursday of each week from the garage. Large items may be picked up from the garage, but you must notify the site office in advance so that the elevator can be padded and locked down.

Parking Permits and Towing

Resident vehicles must have “T” stickers or monthly pass visible at all times. Obtain your parking permits at the site office.

Towing Charges (subject to change):
$125.00 weekday
$150.00 weeknight
$175.00 weekends

Storage fee over 24 hours is $50 per day. Cash required at A-1 office, 5606 Vine Street, Alexandria, VA 22304.

Architectural Modifications

Architectural modification restrictions are designed to maintain the aesthetic harmony of the community and homes. Residents may want to make major modifications to the interior of their home or its exterior appearance. To ensure the modifications are in keeping with the Association’s governing documents, written permission must be obtained from the Board prior to commencing work on the project.
